Mario Party Legacy - Playable Characters

Board #10: From Mario Party 10...Airship Central!

The player starts off on a cloud which leads onto some airships. The airships the players travel on during the first half of the board alternates between ships with Mini Stars and Mini Ztars on them every turn. Players will travel over various airships and clouds before reaching the fortress.
After the players passes the mini-boss tower, they will enter a storm cloud where they will be attacked by Bowser's airship which will shoot Bullet Bills to targeted spaces. If a player lands on a targeted space they will lose half of their Mini Stars. After exiting the storm cloud, the players are on a ring with various spaces that fire cannonballs at Bowser's airship, and some Unlucky Spaces. If someone lands on the Unlucky Space then they will lose half of their Mini Stars. Whoever destroys Bowser's Airship will be rewarded with ten Mini Stars.
The rest of the board is on a cloud path away from the ring.
Board #9: From Mario Party 9...DK's Jungle Ruins!

DK's Jungle Ruins is the seventh board featured in Mario Party 9, and can be unlocked by purchasing it from the Museum for 500 Party Points. This board is not playable in Solo mode, and is considerably different from the other six boards. This board appears to be heavily inspired by the game Donkey Kong Country Returns.
Instead of Mini Stars, players compete to acquire the most Bananas, and instead of Mini Ztars, players lose Bananas if they collect Z-Bananas.
Since this board is operated by Donkey Kong, players play games with the Kongs instead of having boss battles. The players play with Diddy Kong, instead of a mid-boss battle, and with DK himself, instead of a final boss battle. However, Bowser will still enter the scene to add Bowser Spaces after the players meet with the Green Toad. Fortunately, no Bowser Jr. Spaces are present, even if three or four players are playing. The Barrel Roller is the starting vehicle. The Jungle Junker and the DK's Banana Slider are unlockable.
Board #8: From Mario Party 8...Shy Guy's Perplex Express!

Shy Guy's Perplex Express is one of the boards from Mario Party 8. Set on a moving train, the board consists of the inside and the top of the train's cars (there is also a secret area called the Payday Waystation). The locomotive is driven by a Shy Guy engineer and the train cars themselves are inhabited by GoombasKoopas, and more Shy Guys (like cooks and the ones who run the Candy Shops). The objective on this board is to get to the front of the train, where the Shy Guy engineer will give Stars away for 20 coins. It's another one-way board, but in a loop, like a race track. So, as such, speed is just as important as getting coins.
Players who land on a DK Space will cause the train to be switched with Donkey Kong's Barrel Train. Like King Boo's Haunted Hideaway, the player who makes it to DK first gets a free Star (in Star Battle ArenaDonkey Kongdoubles the player's coin total-where he gives them in 40, 57, or in between 40 and 57 coins). Shy Guy's train comes back after DK's gives a Star away. When players land on a Bowser SpaceBowser will come on his train, theBad-Breath Express. Again, it works like DK, but with players losing a Star (in Star Battle Arena, Bowser steals half of the player's coins). However, when a player comes without a star, Bowser will give the player 10 coins. If a player lands on the ? Space in front of Holly Koopa, she will offer to buy one of their Candies for several coins. The ? Space in front of the Shy Guy chef's heat vent will cause the player to be sucked up to the roof of the train (and vice versa for the ? Space in front of the vent on the roof). Another ? Space on the roof will make the Shy Guy conductor come and ask for the player's assistance. He'll inform the player that Holly Koopa's candy was stolen, and say that either Bandit or Mowz did it. The player must then choose a car where they think the perpetrator is. If they're right, Shy Guy will reward them with 20 coins (10 in Duel Mode). Other ? Spaces will cause Kamek to appear and use his magic to move the front car to the back of the train, and move the other cars upward to the front. Another ? space on top of the train causes the characters on top to be hit back to the start by a bar, causing them to lose 5 coins each. Another ? Space on the top of the train is get some coins for players that are on the top of the train. The Lucky Space causes the train to stop and let the player off at Payday Waystation that has a lot of coins and a free Star.
Board #7: From Mario Party 7...Pagoda Peak!

Pagoda Peak is a China-themed board from Mario Party 7 that resembles an ancient Chinese mountain (said to be 4000 years old) mixed with Japanese buildings. Here, Kung Fu Koopas are in charge of the Orb Shops. An old Koopa, named Koopa Master, lives at the top of the mountain. He will sell a character who reaches the peak of the mountain a Star for the amount of coins shown above his house (10, 20, 30 or 40). Each time someone buys a Star from him, the price of each additional Star will go up by ten coins (to a maximum of forty coins).

Board #6: From Mario Party 6...E.Gadd's Garage!

E. Gadd's Garage is a board from Mario Party 6. As the name implies, this board is owned by Professor Elvin Gadd. All of the machines here were created by the professor, for they all have his company's symbol on it (like the one on the back ofF.L.U.D.D. and the nozzle boxes from Super Mario Sunshine). He also seems to have a Nintendo GameCube, which can be seen on the bottom-left corner of the board. Also there are some machines in the background. There is also a duck that floats around near the starting area of the board.
Landing on a Green Space on a conveyor belt causes it to move, sending all players on the conveyor to the space in front of the first junction. The players can obtain coins from this. There are three teleportation units, with a green space next to each one. Landing on one of the three makes E. Gadd appear to ask the player if they want to use the teleportation unit. Accepting will let the player go in and be teleported to one of the other two teleporters on the board. The Green Space in front of the giant fan makes E. Gadd appear to ask if the player wants to use the Wealth Suckage Apparatus. Accepting lets the player use it to suck coins away from the other players. The other players have to tap A quickly in order to save as many coins as possible.
The Green Space next to rocket ship summons E. Gadd to ask the player if they want to use his Calamity Launcher to put Character Spaces on the board for them. If they want to, they have to pay a certain number of coins to determine how many Character Spaces would be placed. The last two Green Spaces are located next to the Shuffle-o-tron, a huge structure shaped like Professor E. Gadd. Again, landing on one of these calls the professor down to ask the player if they want to use this machine. During the day, if accepted, the players put all their orbs in the machine, and they are transformed into different Orbs. By night, the orbs are transformed into coins equal to the same price sold at Orb Shops put together. Note that the player has to choose all or none to use the machine - the player cannot choose only one orb. Another thing happens on the board concerning the shifts of day and night. The platform with the two paths in the middle of the board turns around clockwise every time the time of day shifts.
Board #5: From Mario Party 5...Undersea Dream!

Undersea Dream in Mario Party 5 is a board map from the Dream Depot. It was created from dreams of the ocean. It is loosely based on the Disney film, The Little Mermaid. Resembling a coral reef, such as those found in Isle Delfino’s Gelato Beach, the board is divided into two sections connected by bridges. Noteworthy features are the sunken ship, the whale, and the tiny shops set up by Cheep-Cheeps. However, unlike in Gelato Beach, human charactersYoshiToadBooBowser, and Koopa Kid could breathe and walk normally underwater in the dream. If a player lands on the Happening Space on the sunken ship, a dolphin swims out and forcefully takes the player to another part of the board. Landing on the Happening Space next to the whale allows players to be blasted to a space nearer to the Star. The Happening Space next to the Cheep-Cheep on the right-side reef let players get a chance to earn a Capsule or an old boot from one of the shells (which would be worth nothing). Finally, the Happening Spaces next to the logs on either side of the board gave players a chance to ride a manta to the other side of the board, and collect coins along the way.
Board #4: From Mario Party 4...Goomba's Greedy Gala!

The main attractions here are the large roulette wheel, and the dice areas. The roulette wheel is in the center of the board, dividing it into four sections that the players access by playing the roulette. Every time players come to it, the Goomba in charge makes the wheel spin, then throws a marble on it. Wherever the marble lands on is the area the player is taken to. To make it easier, the Goomba asks the player if they want to pay him coins to make them "have a better chance" at getting to the area they want to go. The more coins paid, the better the chances. If the marble lands on a star area, the player wins 20 coins, and they are allowed to go to any area they wanted. In the areas, there are a few ways to get out. One way is getting to the dice spots. Here, a Goomba appears to challenge the player to a dice game, where the highest number wins. If they player wins, they win 10 coins. If the Goomba wins, they are sent back to start. They automatically lose if the Goomba rolls a "10" (because since they can't roll any higher than "10" that means Goomba wins) and then Goomba will send them back to the start. Another way is landing on a Happening Space at the top of the board. This makes players make their way to the other side of the board by means of riding on a poker chip across a craps table. A Goomba slams into them, and they have to control the movement to get the coins on their way to the other side.

Board #3: From Mario Party 3...Woody Woods!

Woody Woods is a woodland-based board in Mario Party 3. It is inhabited by Piranha PlantsWigglersMIPS, and other woodland creatures. The main feature of this board is Monty Mole. Every turn, he pops out of his hole to switch the directions players move. He also does it every time a player comes to his army-like hut to pay him five coins, or lands on the Happening Spaces that are nearby. Action Time happens when a player lands on a Happening Space that is in front of Woody the tree. He gives players a Plus Coin Fruit (which gave them five coins), or a Plus Block Fruit (which made them roll again). The player has to decide which fruit to have by going either left or right, and if they can't, Woody decides for them. Action Time also happens when a player lands on a ? Space next to Woody's blue counterpart, Warukio. It works just the same, except the prizes are a Minus Coin Fruit (which took away five coins), or a Reverse Block Fruit (which made players roll again, but went backwards).

Board #2: From Mario Party 2...Horror Land!
Horror Land is a haunted forest in Mario Land in Mario Party 2. Players are dressed as wizards and have "Wizard" in their names. The gimmick of this board is that it alternates between night and day every third turn. There are more Boos here than on any other board, including the difficult-to-reach Big Boo (who steals coins and stars from all the other players for three times the normal price of the average Boo). The time of day determines which Boos are available. Whomps guard three separate junctions, and players who wish to take the path Whomp is blocking have to pay him 5 coins. Players that take the path Whomp is not guarding makes him move to that pathway (these Whomps are similar to the ones from DK's Jungle Adventure). At nighttime, the Whomps are under a spell that makes them unable to move.
When players come to Mr. I's warp spot, he appears to them asking if they want to see his magic. If they accept, Mr. I takes them, any other players in the way, to the warp spot on the other side of the board. The fee for this is 10 coins during the day and 5 at night. There are other ways of changing the time of day rather than just waiting 2 turns for day to turn to night and vice versa. Landing on a Happening Space also changes the time too. At nighttime, players that come by a dancing floor are asked by a few Boos and Mr. I's if they want to dance with them for 20 coins. Accepting this makes night become day. During the daytime, players that come by the "Mystery Mansion" at the top of the board is visited by Kamek the Magikoopa. He asks players if they want him to light the "Darkness Lamp" for 10 coins. If accepted, The lamp is lit, and day becomes night. The Item Minigame is Coffin Congestion, and the Duel minigame is Mushroom Brew.
At the end of the game, a red Koopa Troopa comes and alerts the players that the villain of the board, Wizard Bowser, is out causing havoc in the forest. A cutscene then shows a green Koopa wandering the woods at night. He gets surprised by a Boo, who quickly leaves. A cloaked figure then comes to help, but it turns to be Wizard Bowser. He turns the Koopa into a frog, but at that moment, the winner of the game comes to the rescue. He or she turns the Koopa back to normal (using the Magic of Truth) and then engages in a power struggle against Bowser. Bowser loses, getting turned into a frog himself, and hops away. This leaves the winner to be congratulated by the other players, Toad, Koopa, and the Star
.
Board #1: From Mario Party...Mario's Rainbow Castle!

Mario's Rainbow Castle is Mario's game board in Mario Party. The cloudy board looks visually appealing to begin with, but players need to collect Stars to restore the great rainbow of the castle. The board is a one-way path to the middle of the board (with 2 junctions). Players who make it to the center ride Fwoosh up to the tower, where either Toad or Bowser wait. Toad doles out the Stars as usual, but if players reach Bowser, he awards them with a Ztar at the cost of 40 coins (which will not add to their Star total). After getting either Star, the tower switches, replacing Toad with Bowser and vice versa, and Lakitu takes the player back to start. The Happening Space can be used to force the tower to turn around before a player reaches it.
At the end of the game, the winner's Stars form a large Star that makes a magnificent series of rainbows across the board, followed by a rainbow path from Fwoosh's center platform. The winner, as well as the players in 2nd and 3rd place go up the rainbow path to celebrate the victory along with Toad, KoopaBoo, Fwoosh, and the Star. The player in 4th place attempts to travel up the rainbow too, but slips, falls, and is carried away by Lakitu.
